This weekend my family and I traveled to Colorado for a friend's wedding... It was a VERY short trip, but it was still so nice to get away for just a couple of days! Congratulations to Mat and Lindsay on their Big Day!
The wedding was in Golden, and since we got there a little early, my parents and I did a little shopping downtown and took a tour of the Coors brewery. We didn't have much time, so I only got to visit one antique store while we were there, but I was pretty excited about my two antique finds- #1) an amazing vintage Valentine's Day card from the 1950's (I just LOVE old cards!) #2) This adorable painting on glass of a girl with an umbrella... There was just something so primitive about the technique... plus, I think it reminded me of the Morton salt girl, whic
h if you know me, you know that I'm a huge fan of. I think I'm going to remove the backing and place a patterned fabric or something behind it to add a little texture, but we'll see how it looks!
